Riyaasat — Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
Applicability
This policy governs purchases made directly from Riyaasat (Website, Social Channels, WhatsApp, Customer Care or our stores) and applies to both Domestic (India) and International orders except where expressly stated otherwise.
In case of requests for order cancellations, We reserve the right to accept or reject such requests based on the proof submitted. As part of usual business practice, if We receive a cancellation notice within 24 hours of placing the order, we could cancel the order and refund the entire amount on a case-to-case basis.
Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order. Send cancellation requests to info@riyaasat.in or Whatsapp us at +91 7405468546 with your Order Number and reason of cancellation.

Cancellation requests received after 24 hours are reviewed by management and may be approved at Riyaasat’s discretion. Approved cancellations will be refunded or issued as a credit note.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they enter production. Riyaasat’s determination of when an order is processed/entered production is final.

If approved, refunds or credit notes will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.

Credit notes are valid for 6 months from date of issue.

Only orders below Rs. 20,000 are eligible for refunds via original payment methods; otherwise refunds will be issued as credit notes that can be availed online with riyaasat.in or at our flagship stores in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Vadodara.

There will be no refunds for orders to which any kind of discounts were applied. For the purposes of these terms, “discount” includes a sale (including EOSS), discount/offer code or coupon.

Goods are faulty if they are damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining store credit, please be aware that We can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items.

In case of any return/exchange, the shipping charges for sending the product to Us will be borne by the Buyer.

If an order has more than five products then it will be considered as a bulk order. Return/refund for such orders would not be possible.

Discounted product(s) or orders placed using loyalty points or promotional gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged.

In case of any return/exchange, the shipping charges for sending the product to Us will be borne by You.

Returns & Exchanges — India (Domestic)

Returns are accepted only for damage or clear manufacturing defects. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@riyaasat.in or WhatsApp us at +91 7405468546.

Returned items must be shipped to our designated warehouse within 72 hours of delivery and must be unused, unwashed, unworn, undamaged and accompanied by original packaging (tags, boxes, hangers, dust bags, authenticity cards, etc.).

In case of a refund or exchange, a restocking fee will be charged @15% of the MRP of the product.

Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags should be included with Your return/exchange.

Exchange requests must be raised within 24 hours of receipt. Exchanges are subject to availability and confirmation by Riyaasat. No additional charge for like-for-like exchanges; charges apply for different sizes/designs or alterations (shipping applies).

Customized, made-to-order items, accessories (jewellery, potlis, juttis), and sale/discounted items are non-returnable/non-exchangeable unless a manufacturing defect exists.

Products returned without required packaging, soiled, damaged through misuse, or with scratched soles (for shoes) may be rejected or returned to you.
Refunds & Store Credit

Domestic prepaid orders: refunds (where applicable) processed within 5 to 7 business days after we receive and approve the returned product.

Cash-on-delivery orders: refunds processed within 35 days after product receipt at our store/warehouse.

Refunds may be issued as store credit at Riyaasat’s discretion; store credits are valid for 6 months.

Restocking fee: For approved returns/exchanges, a restocking fee may apply (see International section for specific charges). A 15% restocking fee of MRP may apply where indicated.

Non-refundable items/services include COD fees, shipping fees, and payment gateway charges.

Orders placed with discounts, loyalty points or promotional vouchers are generally non-refundable. Any order marked as non-refundable at time of purchase remains so.
International Orders

We do not offer routine returns or exchanges on international shipments. Damaged or defective items may be eligible for exchange subject to approval.

Customers are responsible for restocking fees, international return shipping, import duties, taxes and any customs charges.

Approved refunds for international orders are issued as credit notes only.

Custom & Bulk Orders

All custom-made, bespoke or made-to-order garments are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable unless there is a verifiable manufacturing defect.

Orders containing more than five items are treated as bulk orders and are not eligible for return/refund.
Faulty Items

Goods are considered faulty if received damaged or with manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse is not considered a fault.

For faulty items we may offer repair, exchange (like-for-like, subject to availability) or store credit as appropriate.
Cancellation Charges & Chargebacks
We shall not be able to accept any cancellation if Your order has been processed.
In case an order has been cancelled as per applicable terms and conditions, You will be entitled to only receive store credit in lieu thereof.
There will be no refunds for orders to which any kind of discounts were applied. For the purposes of these terms, “discount” includes a sale (including EOSS), discount/offer code or coupon.

In case of any approved cancellation (as permissible under the applicable terms & conditions), a cancellation charge of 5% of the order value (excluding any amount paid using loyalty points or store credit) will be payable and utilized towards payment gateway charges on account of such cancellation.

Where cancellations are approved as per these terms, a cancellation charge of 5% of the order value (excluding amounts paid using loyalty points or store credit) may be applied to cover payment gateway costs.

If you raise a chargeback, we may pause order processing or delivery until the matter is resolved. If a chargeback is permitted while goods remain with you, you must return the products in good condition to Riyaasat or an authorised store.

Product Quality & Expectations

Riyaasat garments are crafted with high attention to detail. Minor color variations due to photography or screen display may occur.

Production timelines may change for design approvals or adjustments. Orders are non-cancellable once production begins.
Important Notes
-
Gift certificates, jewellery, potlis, juttis and items bought on discount or sale are not eligible for return, refund or exchange except in case of clear manufacturing defect.

Always try shoes on a carpeted surface; scratched soles may void returns.
-
Unidentified or incomplete returns may be returned to the sender.
-
For store purchases, the invoice/receipt terms prevail where inconsistent with this policy.

By placing an order with Riyaasat you acknowledge and accept these terms. Riyaasat reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time; changes will be effective upon posting on the site.
If Your order is duly cancelled, the amount paid by You will be reversed to your account within 5 to 7 working days of receiving your bank account details for such reversal. We can not process a cash refund under any circumstances. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed (including cases where the order has been processed within the first 24 hours) or orders for which cancellation request is received after the expiry of the first 24 hours from placing the order.
We have the full discretion to decide whether an order has been processed or not. It is clarified that after the expiry of the first 24 hours after placing the order, You would not be entitled to cancel the order and receive a refund.
In case You raise a chargeback of the payment made by You or any part thereof, whether warranted, unwarranted, authorised or otherwise, We will be entitled to pause the processing of the order placed, delivery or shipping of the products purchased until the issues are resolved in entirety and the payment is released and chargeback is irrevocably withdrawn by You or disallowed by the final authority on the matter. Further, in case the product(s) is/are in your possession/ delivered at the requested address, and You receive a chargeback, You undertake to return the said product(s) in good condition to the registered address of the Company or to one of Our authorised stores.
